Celebrating The life Of Legendary Gil Scott-Heron

Yesterday through Twitter a message was released by British Publisher, Jamie Byng departed this cruel world at the age of 62.  For those of you who aren't familiar with Gil Scott Heron, he was a poet and recording artist whose syncopated spoken style and mordant critiques of politics, racism and mass media in pieces like “The Revolution Will Not Be Televised” made him a notable voice of black protest culture in the 1970s and an important early influence on hip-hop.

Gil was known for his work in the late 60's and early 70's.  He was also associated with The Africa American Militant activism.  "The Revolution" is what established Gil Scott-Heron as a rising star of the black culture.  In fact, he had a huge influence on early rap groups such as Public Enemy and Boogie Down Productions.  “You can go into Ginsberg and the Beat poets and Dylan, but Gil Scott-Heron is the manifestation of the modern word,” Chuck D., the leader of Public Enemy, told The New Yorker in 2010. “He and the Last Poets set the stage for everyone else.”  He spoke the words that the alcoholic, junkie, prostitute, pimp, gambler, con artist and every other cruelty that lurks the souls of black people.
In the mid 1970's he married actress Brenda Sykes.  The couple had a daughter named, Gia Scott-Heron.  She too is a spoken word artist/poet.  Sadly, a few years after being married the couple divorced.  Yet, in still Gil Scott-Heron is a legend and will never be forgotten.  So, instead of mourning his death let's celebrate his life.  I thank you so much for visiting my site and may God continue to bless you abundantly in all that you do...Peace..

Fake Baby Mama Picture Of Chad Ochocinco's Philly Love Child, Eve Address Lil Kim and Nikki Menage Beef

The first piece of gossip that I posted when I made the transition of Only Rocky being a funny, platform to speak the unspeakable site to a celebrity gossip site was on Chad Ochocinco.  Radio Personality, Miss Jones revealed on her show that football player, Chad Ochocinco is expecting a child by a woman in Philadelphia named, Paige.  The conversation between Jonesy and allegedly Paige was live on air.  You might can still get the interview from You Tube.  The alleged baby mama, Paige sent Jonesy a photo of herself and the photo was shared with the listeners via Internet.  Okay, here's the kicker. According to Hip Hop Wired, Clear Channel is now being sued because allegedly the photo submitted is not Paige.  It allegedly belongs to Hana Augins.  She is a newlywed whose husband is currently serving in Afghanistan but for some reason she is being accused of carrying the child of football star, Chad Ochocinco.  Radio host, "Jonesy" posted a pic of Augins on Power99 station's website under the heading: 'Chad Ochocinco's Baby Mama Revealed!!!!!'
Check out the post below according to Hip Hop Wired:

A woman known only as "Paige" called in to the "Jonesy in the Morning" show and claimed to be three months pregnant with Chad's child. Miss Jones then received a photo from Paige and did not verify its authenticity before posting it.
The complaint characterizes the act as an "electronic onslaught."
When Jonesy received a cease-and-desist letter from Augins' attorney, requesting that the host apologize to Augins, once per hour during her show, Miss Jones sent a response, "Tell ur lawyer he's a f**kin fool if he thinks I'm apologizing to you once an hour on air or at all! Yall are greedy bastards trying to get a payday but it aint gonna happen."
She seeks punitive damages for defamation, invasion of privacy, infringement of the right of publicity, and reckless infliction of emotional distress. Defendants include Clear Channel Communication, Radio One, and Robert Littal dba Black Sports Online but not Tarsha Jones/Jonesy.
We all know that Lil Kim persist on continuing this feud between  Nikki Menage and herself.  In my opinion, she looks like a jackass for doing so.  Yes, she was hot commodity in HER time.  But, now it's Nikki Menage and Kim needs to let her shine without 1,000 diss records or 2,000 verbal lashing tweets. Check out the article posted on Hip-Hop Gossip site featuring rapper, Eve and her input on the Lil Kim and Nikki Menage quarrel.

The Philly native rapper Eve thinks Kim should stop with the melodramatics and the childish feuding with Nicki Minaj and get back to making great music. To Eve, the entire situation paints Kim in a negative light.
"I need her to stop. If I was Kim's friend, I'd be like, yo. Because she's Kim, period," Eve said in an interview. "So she never has to feed. She shouldn't. It's bad. It's not a good look. If I was her friend, I'd tell her, yo, just come back bigger and better. The best way to get at people is to do you better than you've ever done you. So that's it...I love it."
"You know, it's definitely a nice group of females that's out representing, but because I come from hip-hop, I need more females in hip-hop," she continued. "Nicki definitely is holding the flag down, and a lot of people be wanting me to hate just because that's how girls supposed to do in hip-hop, but I'm loving everything she does. But we need more females, man. There's too much testosterone in the hip-hop game."
Okay, as always I thank you from the bottom of my heart for your constant support.  I must ask you again to show support of "Gavin and Reka" by clicking on the link of this trailer.  Remember it's the voice that's spoken that is heard....Peace..
